The Advisory Committee
The Parliamentary Ombud has an advisory committee that contributes expertise, information, advice and input to our work.
The Advisory Committee consists of 18 members from organisations with expertise in fields such as human rights, children, equality and non-discrimination. They also have user experience from various sectors and knowledge of the conditions for different groups deprived of their liberty.
We hold three annual meetings with the Advisory Committee, in addition to ongoing dialogue as needed.
